Focus Homes has been in operation for over 20 years and have built over 500 hundred homes all over the Coromandel from Thames to the tip of the Peninsula and as far south as Katikati as well as the Hauraki Plains and Seabird Coast. She’ll sit down with you, listen to the look, feel and criteria that you have in mind and then help you convert this into a functional, great looking kitchen and bathroom that fits within your budget. And you don’t have to be building a home with us to get a great Mastercraft kitchen and expert advice from Janie. Maybe you’re renovating your home, or building a home yourself and looking to purchase a new kitchen. Either way we are happy to help you, if you’re renovating then Janie can design your kitchen around what is already there to make the most of existing features. We can also design and quote from the plans of your home before it is built.
“I truly believe that the kitchen is the 'heart of the home', so when I am designing a new kitchen my aim is to not only ensure it is functional but also an enjoyable space for the entire family. On my first meeting with clients I advise them to take their time, not rush the process but enjoy it like you would enjoy reading a good book.
I break the process down into three stages to make sure that I get to know every thing I need to understand about what the client wants.
• The Introduction – Time for me to get to know them, their lifestyle, needs and personalities. Also, the appliances they wish to incorporate and of course their budget. At this stage I will come to your site free of charge and measure the space.
• The Story – The challenge of ensuring that the design and layout suit their needs, the enjoyment of choosing colours and textures to suit their personalities and finally creating their own personal atmosphere. I then provide you with a computer generated sketch of the proposed design, this is when it really starts to come to life! I also give you an accurate quote free of charge for all the materials and installation.
